Ferropolis
Ferropolis (City of Iron) is a modern, eye-catching venue which attracts people from far and wide. Located near the town of Gräfenhainichen, its five giant mining excavators and spreaders saved from the scrapyard remind visitors of the town’s industrial past. A unique setting for large-scale events for up to 25,000 spectators, it also has three different indoor halls available for smaller affairs attended by between 20 and 500 people.
Having hosted a string of major events in recent years, Ferropolis has built up extensive organizational expertise and an infrastructure to match. Lutherstadt Wittenberg with its UNESCO World Heritage Sites, attractive accommodation, main train station and various cultural activities is only about 25 km (15 miles) away.
